IT Support Technician

Atlanta, GA 30339, US Full Time
Compensation: $50 to $60 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our team and provide reliable, responsive technical support to employees across the United States. This role will provide first- and second-line IT support while supporting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, employee onboarding, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-line IT support to employees across the US, including troubleshooting, user setup, and resolution of technical issues.

• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Copilot.

• Provide technical support for internally developed applications and escalate complex issues when appropriate.

• Set up, configure, deploy, maintain, and repair laptops, desktops, peripherals, and other IT equipment.

• Prepare employee technology, accounts, software, and access as part of the onboarding process.

• Manage IT requirements throughout the employee lifecycle, including employee onboarding, transfers, equipment changes, and offboarding.

• Configure workstations for both office-based and remote employees, including desk moves and office reconfigurations.

• Support meeting rooms and collaboration spaces, including audio-visual equipment, video conferencing, and related technology.

• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and ensure equipment is properly tracked, allocated, and maintained.

• Install, configure, update, and maintain hardware and software in accordance with company policies and standards.

• Work closely with managed service providers and external technology partners to coordinate and resolve technical issues.

• Monitor recurring support issues and identify opportunities to improve the employee technology experience.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and appropriate automation using existing technology tools.

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, assets, configurations, and support activities.

• Promote strong IT practices, security awareness, and appropriate technology usage across the organization.

• During the first 30–90 days, learn internally developed applications and the cloud infrastructure supporting web-based applications, including how applications are deployed, configured, and maintained.



Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience providing Level 1–2 IT support in a corporate environment.

• Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software installation, and PC configuration.

• Experience troubleshooting common hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Copilot.

• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, meeting room technology, and video conferencing equipment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues and identify practical solutions.

• Strong customer-service orientation with a professional, approachable, and responsive manner.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

• Ability to prioritize competing support requests and manage issues in a timely and organized manner.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams, managed service providers, and external technology partners.

• Demonstrated interest in developing technical knowledge and staying current with new technologies.

• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve IT processes, efficiency, automation, and the overall employee technology experience.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and IT asset records.

• Familiarity with cloud-based application environments and basic understanding of how web applications are deployed, configured, and maintained is preferred.


Compensation

$50,000.00-$60,000.00 Yearly
