This position is located in Nancy, Ky.
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment, Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp seeks an energetic self-motivated candidate that possesses a strong work ethic with skills in program development, financial management, and supervision for the 4-H Camp Director position. The 4-H Camp Director will be responsible for direct oversight, budgeting, planning, and preparing for summer camp programs. Responsible for recruiting, hiring seasonal camp staff and direct day to day management of all camp programs. Responsible for direct supervision for 25+ temporary, full-time employees. Continually evaluate and monitor risk management practices to ensure health and safety of participants and staff. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the camp budget. Research and pursue fund development opportunities as appropriate (e.g., fundraisers and grants). Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Camp Maintenance and Operations Supervisor to evaluate facilities and set maintenance priorities and work plans. On-site housing is available. Valid driver’s license preferred and completion of the 12-passenger van training upon employment. This position includes excellent benefits and provides opportunities for professional development.
