Position Summary:

Parraid is seeking a Technical Program and Product Manager to own execution of our Communications Product Line programs from initial sale through delivery, fielding, and sustainment handoff. This role is the primary point of accountability for the customer experience and success after award and the primary point of coordination across engineering, production, and configuration management internally.

Approximately half of the role is direct customer engagement, supporting prospective customers with credible scope and schedule commitments during pursuit, and supporting fielded customers through delivery, integration, modernization, experimentation, and follow-on capability. The balance of the role is ensuring those commitments are met and providing information flow directly back into product engineering and roadmap. Focused on program execution, product leadership, and ensuring customer and operational feedback is translated into actionable requirements and product development priorities.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution:

  • Own program execution from award including late-stage capture support through delivery, fielding, and transition to sustainment.
  • Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule across hardware, software, systems engineering, configuration management, and production BOM/LOM.
  • Own cost and schedule performance against the contract CLIN structure.
  • Manage CDRL development, quality, and on-time submission; maintain traceability against the compliance matrix.
  • Conduct risk and issue management with actionable mitigation plans, clear ownership and appropriate communication to customers and leadership.
  • Master the setup, configuration, demonstration, and deployment of Parraid Communications Product Line Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency in the setup, configuration, demonstration, integration, and deployment of Parraid Communications Product Line solutions.
  • Translate customer requirements, operational needs, and field feedback into actionable product requirements and engineering priorities.
  • Develop and prioritize product requirements and backlogs in coordination with Product Line leadership and engineering, ensuring alignment with customer needs, program commitments, and product strategy.
  • Provide structured customer and field input into product roadmap development and future capability priorities.

Customer Engagement (approximately 50% of the role):

  • Serve as the primary post-award customer point of contact for DOD and other program offices.
  • Support pre-award pursuits by providing realistic assessments of schedule, integration effort, and deliverable scope.
  • Lead recurring program reviews, in-process reviews (IPRs), and technical interchange meetings (TIMs).
  • Capture and prioritize field user feedback as structured input to the product roadmap.
  • Represent Parraid at demonstrations, experimentation events, and field trials.
  • Engage directly with customers and operational users to understand mission requirements, integration challenges, and emerging capability needs.
  • Partner with customers and internal engineering teams to define integration approaches across tactical communications systems, networks, transport, and mission applications.

Internal Coordination:

  • Coordinate delivery across Software, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, and Production, including teams outside direct reporting authority.
  • Support RMF/ATO artifact timelines and DD254-driven security requirements.
  • Provide accurate, timely program status to leadership.
  • Maintain alignment and information flow between customer requirements, program commitments, product priorities, and engineering execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related technical discipline; or ten (10) years of experience in military tactical operations communications and networking; or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
  • 5+ years managing technical programs, fielding events, or deployments in a DoD or defense-industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of tactical communications, including RoIP, PTT voice, IP networking, multicast, and system behavior over constrained or DDIL transport.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer and operational requirements into actionable technical requirements, engineering priorities, and program deliverables.
  • Ability to interpret a PWS/SOW and communicate effectively across end users, engineers, and contracting officers.
  • Active secret clearance or eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations, including austere and OCONUS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with the RoIP (NRG) and comparable RoIP gateway systems.
  • Experience with Rally Tactical Systems (Engage Engine / Rallypoint) or comparable tactical middleware.
  • Familiarity with L3Harris Falcon III/IV radio families (AN/PRC-160, 153, 158, 167), Software Defined Radio systems, MANET waveforms and DoD, Federal, and Commercial radio ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with the TAK ecosystem.
  • Defense acquisition literacy : FFP/CPFF structures, CLINs, CDRLs, OTAs, DD254/NISPOM.
  • PMP certification, (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
  • Prior military signal or special operations communications background.

  • Customer retention and follow-on award rate
  • Time-to-resolution for fielded issues
  • Effectiveness of field feedback integration into the product roadmap

About the Program

This position exists to ensure that capability reaches the field on schedule and performs as committed and evolves in response to validated customer and operational requirements.

Job Type and Work Location:

Full-Time/Regular in Hollywood, MD, remote or hybrid will be considered.

Years of Experience: 10+ years of military tactical operations communications and networking or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.

Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related technical discipline; or ten (10) years of directly relevant military tactical operations communications and networking experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.

Minimal Travel Required: 25-40% CONUS/OCONUS including customer sites, exercises, training delivery, field trials, fielding events and industry conferences.

Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Clearance is required.

Salary Range: 160,000.00 to 185,000.00 Annually
