JOB SUMMARY

Provide Program Management, Engineering, and C-130 Maintenance expertise to assist in the sustainment of the C-130 Combined Total Force test organization at Little Rock AFB, AR. Support may require, working with the host unit for aircraft, operational, maintenance manpower, and equipment support. Support requirements also include drafting and coordinating memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and memorandums of agreement (MOAs) for parking, aircraft ground equipment, use of government-owned vehicles, building management responsibilities, and airspace correspondence.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the day-to-day program management activities. Includes, but not limited to, keeping all programs on cost and schedule, communicating with customers to ensure their satisfaction, soliciting feedback, travel for various programmatic meetings, etc.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships; communicate their needs to senior management; oversee customer meetings.
  • Provide a quarterly Program Management Review (PMR) for each program under contract within business area and present same to Headquarters staff.
  • Develop methods to monitor progress and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between GMRE employees/contractors.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Monitor and maintain program schedule to include actual hours worked for any persons working on assigned program(s).
  • Plans for technical support functions required to support engineering.
  • Research, and development projects and activities.
  • Functions may include set-up, maintenance, circuit testing, assembly, installation, and fabrication.
  • Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standardized principles and procedures in area of specialization to problems and projects of moderate complexity.
  • Diagnoses and corrects complex system and equipment problems.
  • Develops and conducts testing activities.
  • May participate in design modifications in the completion of moderately complex assignments.
  • May guide the technical efforts of less experienced staff.
  • Serve as maintenance liaisons between AATC and tenant units to include GSU’s and TDY locations for all maintenance related requirements.
  • Support requirements also include drafting and coordinating memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and memorandums of agreement (MOAs) for parking, aircraft ground equipment, use of government owned vehicles, building, management, responsibilities, and airspace correspondence.
  • Complete 272 and 273 paperwork for SPO submittal and track all modifications for Configuration Management. Maintain all modification paperwork and provide input on new Technical Order procedures as a result of the modification.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, CDRLs, and reports to assigned program(s)
  • Responsible for having knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), USC, and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
  • Responsible for adhering to company Policies and Processes.
  • Submit MSR’s (Monthly Status Reports) to GMRE headquarters by the 5th day of every month. The MSR will include employee’s name, supported MDS, a maximum of 5 bullet points for significant events for the month, travel for the past month and any significant events and activities for the next 60 days.
  • Support the AATC Commander as needed on various ancillary projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 15 years DoD experience.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
  • Strict adherence to company guidelines, compliance laws, and legal requirements.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • You are required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the C-130 Little Rock CTF.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The work is generally sedentary, there will be some recurring periods of maintaining equipment which may require employee to lift equipment, stand, walk, stretch, bend, reach, and stoop for short periods of time, requiring only moderate physical ability and physical stress.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • This position may require travel up to 50% of the time from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS locations and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time to fulfill contract requirements.
