Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support a long-term contract engagement in Middletown, Delaware. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical integration expertise with a practical understanding of accounting-related systems, especially within QuickBooks desktop environments. The role will focus on assessing data flow, identifying efficient integration approaches, and helping business stakeholders turn operational needs into workable technical solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend effective integration approaches between QuickBooks desktop platforms and related business applications.
• Review DataForma capabilities and determine practical options for connecting, exchanging, or synchronizing information across systems.
• Analyze current data structures to support imports, exports, migration planning, and process automation opportunities.
• Work closely with business users to gather needs, clarify challenges, and translate operational goals into technical recommendations.
• Troubleshoot data movement issues and help define reliable methods for improving accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Support project execution by documenting integration logic, data handling requirements, and solution considerations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with onsite and remote teams to ensure proposed solutions align with system access constraints and project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with QuickBooks Desktop, including environments such as QuickBooks Pro, Enterprise, or similar versions.
• Strong background in analyzing system integrations, data exchange methods, and cross-platform technical dependencies.
• Experience with data migration activities, including imports, exports, validation, and transformation processes.
• Ability to assess business software functionality and recommend practical technical solutions based on operational requirements.
• Familiarity with accounting-related workflows, such as receivables or general accounting operations, within software-driven environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a contract-based project setting and manage priorities effectively.
