Customer Service AP Clerk

We are looking for a Customer Service clerk to join a team in White Plains, New York in a contract capacity. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong customer support skills with data entry experience and can manage daily financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining organized payment records.

• Handle credit card payments and related transaction activity with close attention to detail.

• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and provide support related to billing and payment matters.

• Review account information, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues when needed to ensure timely follow-up.

• Maintain clear documentation of financial and service-related activities to support reporting and audit readiness.

• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm payment details, update records, and support daily operational needs.

• Deliver dependable front-line service while balancing administrative and accounts payable tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting accounts payable functions, including invoice handling and payment processing.
• Working knowledge of credit card payment procedures and transaction reconciliation.
• Customer service experience with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Comfort working in a structured weekday schedule with occasional Saturday availability.
• Proficiency with standard office systems and data entry in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team setting.

Compensation

$17.10-$19.80 Hourly
