Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support business process improvement and service operations for a long-term contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate workflows, clarify business needs, and translate findings into practical recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience in customer service environments, and the ability to contribute within Agile Scrum teams.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, organize, and refine operational and functional requirements for key initiatives.
• Examine current processes and documentation to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for measurable improvement.
• Perform gap analysis to compare existing workflows with desired business outcomes and recommend actionable next steps.
• Review business and operational documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives and compliance expectations.
• Collaborate with call center and customer service teams to understand pain points, support process enhancements, and improve user experience.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including backlog discussions, sprint planning, and status reviews, to help keep work aligned with priorities.
• Prepare clear reports, process maps, and requirement artifacts that support decision-making across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business analysis within operational or customer-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of call center or customer service processes and related business challenges.
• Hands-on experience conducting document review, requirement analysis, and process evaluation.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and participation in iterative project delivery.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in organizing complex information and producing clear, business-focused documentation.

Compensation

$66.50-$77.00 Hourly
