Office Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to support the operations at a firm located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Contract position will provide direct administrative assistance to the Director while helping the department stay organized, responsive, and efficient. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing routine office tasks, preparing documents and reports, and communicating professionally with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Director, helping coordinate priorities and support departmental operations.
• Create, update, and organize reports, documents, and other administrative materials using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Support assigned research activities by collecting information, compiling findings, and formatting summary documents for review.
• Develop presentation materials in PowerPoint to assist with meetings, updates, and departmental communications.
• Serve as a point of contact for incoming questions and calls, directing inquiries appropriately and recording detailed messages when needed.
• Contribute to special projects, office initiatives, and committee-related tasks as requested by the department.
• Maintain orderly records, correspondence, and general office documentation to support efficient daily workflow.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role required.
• Strong ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform clerical and general office support functions in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
