VP of Communications

Robert Half has partnered with an award-winning strategic communications agency is seeking a senior communications leader to join its executive team. This newly created position is designed to expand the agency's senior leadership bench and strengthen its capabilities in executive communications, corporate reputation, crisis communications, and strategic client counsel. The ideal candidate is an experienced PR & corporate communications leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to executives, lead high-impact communications strategies, provide counsel during complex business situations, and help elevate both client relationships and agency capabilities.

What You'll Do

Serve as a senior strategic communications advisor to executive-level clients Develop B2C communications strategies that align with business objectives.

Lead executive communications, reputation management, and crisis communications initiatives.

Guide integrated communications programs across a diverse client portfolio.

Build trusted relationships with CEOs, executive teams, and key stakeholders.

Support agency growth through thought leadership, networking, event, community engagement, and strategic relationship development.

Mentor and coach communications professionals across the organization.

Contribute to the continued evolution and growth of the agency's service offerings.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

8+ years of communications, public relations, or corporate communications experience.

Prior agency experience required.

Strong background in corporate communications and executive communications.

Crisis communications and issues management expertise.

Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.

Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Consumer (B2C) communications experience.

National media relations experience.

Experience supporting consumer-facing brands.

Established network and comfort representing an organization externally.
