Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of inventory. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience managing warehouse processes, personnel, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate warehouse employees and supervisors.
- Establish and monitor productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety standards.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment.
- Monitor equipment, facility needs, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with purchasing, transportation, customer service, and other departments.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, labor planning, and cost-control initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations management experience.
- Proven experience supervising and developing warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
Compensation
