Inventory Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Manage outbound domestic and international shipments by preparing packages, creating shipping paperwork, and applying accurate labels.
• Work closely with carriers, freight partners, and customs-related contacts to arrange timely pickups, deliveries, and shipment movement.
• Receive inbound materials, inspect deliveries, and compare items against packing slips and purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
• Monitor shipping activity and communicate shipment progress, delivery updates, and exceptions to internal team members.
• Maintain current inventory information by recording transactions and updating warehouse or inventory tracking systems.
• Investigate and help resolve issues involving damaged goods, quantity mismatches, delayed freight, or documentation concerns.
• Follow applicable export, customs, and international transportation requirements to support compliant shipping practices.
• Assist with day-to-day warehouse tasks such as organizing stock, staging materials, and supporting general receiving operations.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, or warehouse support roles.• Practical knowledge of international shipping processes, including documentation and shipment coordination.
• Experience working with UPS shipping and other carrier-based shipping tools or methods.
• Ability to complete receiving inspections and verify delivered items with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with shipping equipment, freight handling, and logging shipment activity.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, carriers, and logistics partners.
Compensation
