PC Technician

We are looking for a PC Technician to provide hands-on technical support for desktop hardware and connected devices. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment issues, preparing systems for end users, and maintaining reliable workstation performance in a fast-paced internet service provider environment. The role focuses on computer hardware setup, device support, and physical connectivity tasks while delivering responsive service to internal teams.

Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and support desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware used across the organization.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving workstations, cables, docking stations, monitors, and other associated equipment.
• Set up and deploy systems from manufacturers, ensuring devices are ready for business use.
• Perform cable installation and organization for workstations, device connections, and other technical setups as needed.
• Replace faulty components and coordinate hardware repairs to minimize downtime for users.
• Maintain accurate records of device inventory, service activities, and completed support tasks.
• Assist with workstation moves, equipment refresh efforts, and other on-site technical support requests.
• Follow established support procedures and safety standards while delivering timely and attentive service.

Qualifications:

• Experience providing hands-on support for computer hardware and associated desktop equipment.
• Working knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and replacing PC components and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with Dell technologies and Apple devices in a support or deployment setting.
• Ability to complete cable installation and manage physical device connectivity in office environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and resolve them efficiently.
• Comfortable handling multiple support requests while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach to technical support.

Compensation

$22.80-$26.40 Hourly
