Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily treasury activities to support liquidity, cash positioning, and reliable financial operations.
• Manage foreign exchange hedging and funding processes to help reduce risk and maintain effective cash management.
• Coordinate intercompany receivables and payables, including transfer pricing-related support and accurate cross-entity balancing.
• Perform banking administration and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and exceptions are resolved promptly.
• Review aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and help strengthen collection efforts and working capital performance.
• Improve finance and accounting workflows by identifying inefficiencies, enhancing processes, and supporting stronger operational execution.
• Prepare and monitor cash forecasts in collaboration with business finance partners to support planning and short-term funding decisions.
• Maintain and reinforce internal controls, assist with audit preparation, and provide documentation needed for internal and external review activities.
• Serve as a key finance user for ERP-related activities, including support tied to the organization’s system migration initiative, and contribute to special projects as needed.
• Provide backup support for business control activities, including reporting and analysis during peak periods or coverage gaps.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in corporate finance and accounting, with the ability to operate confidently across both operational and strategic responsibilities.• Background in treasury management, including cash forecasting, banking activity, and account reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of internal controls and the ability to help establish, monitor, and improve compliance-focused processes.
• Experience with SAP and comfort learning or supporting ERP-driven finance environments.
• Familiarity with aging reports, receivables follow-up, and intercompany accounting practices.
• Understanding of foreign exchange, funding activities, or related treasury functions in a corporate setting.
• Some exposure to tax concepts is helpful, though not required.
• Able to step into the role quickly and work effectively in a fully onsite environment during the initial engagement.
