This prominent and well known law Firm in Austin, Texas, is looking for a highly organized Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-moving litigation environment. This position is ideal for someone who can manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and keep critical deadlines on track. The successful candidate will bring strong calendar coordination, filing experience, and a detail-oriented approach to confidential legal matters.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate attorney calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain accurate docket records to support timely case management.

• Prepare, submit, and monitor electronic court filings while ensuring all documents meet jurisdictional requirements.

• Review upcoming deadlines with attorneys and provide consistent follow-up to help keep matters progressing on schedule.

• Organize legal documents, correspondence, and case materials with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Support litigation workflow by handling multiple active matters at once and adjusting priorities as case demands shift.

• Contribute to team operations by collaborating with colleagues and assisting with additional assignments or special projects as needed.

• Protect sensitive legal and client information by exercising sound judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Legal Assistant role, with prior exposure to litigation support strongly required.

• Hands-on experience with e-filing, court submissions, and deadline-driven calendar management.

• Working knowledge of civil, commercial, or defense litigation processes and related documentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.

• Strong organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

• College degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Experience with legal and business tools such as Westlaw, Litify, Tax Appeal Pro, Docrio, or Chrome River is a plus.
