Project Manager

Compensation: $28.50 to $30 Hourly

We are looking for a Project Manager to support the coordination and delivery of client programs in California. This contract opportunity is well suited for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys keeping projects organized, and can work across internal teams and external partners to maintain momentum. The role focuses on tracking progress, managing documentation, and helping ensure program activities stay aligned with defined expectations, timelines, and business needs.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily project and program activities to help keep client initiatives on track with approved objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor milestones, action items, dependencies, and potential risks, and communicate updates to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Partner with internal teams and outside vendors to maintain visibility into ongoing work and confirm progress against expectations.
• Support issue escalation processes when challenges affect project scope, contractual obligations, or broader program outcomes.
• Facilitate approved changes by organizing requirements, securing necessary approvals, updating documentation, and tracking implementation status.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of workflows, requirements, decisions, and change history throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare project updates, status summaries, and supporting analysis for reporting used by leadership and program stakeholders.
• Ensure incidents, change activity, and follow-up actions are properly documented, resolved, and formally closed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, program support, client-facing operations, or a similar business-to-business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Detail-oriented approach and sound problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings.
• Working knowledge of project management practices; formal project management training, Agile/Scrum exposure, or PMP certification is a plus.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other digital tools for tracking work, documentation, and reporting.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.

Compensation

$28.50-$30.00 Hourly
