Logistics Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a temporary assignment. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, managing transportation schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and customers
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and logistics reports
- Resolve transportation and delivery issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records in ERP, WMS, or transportation systems
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams
- Assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP, WMS, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
