CAD/BIM Consultant
We are seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Consultant with strong Revit expertise and experience supporting vertical engineering projects. This role will work closely with engineering, design, and project teams to develop and maintain BIM models, create construction documentation, and ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience utilizing Revit in a consulting or engineering environment and possess a solid understanding of building systems, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce accurate construction documents, drawings, and project deliverables.
- Support engineering and design teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Coordinate models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Participate in clash detection, model reviews, and quality control processes.
- Ensure BIM standards, project requirements, and design guidelines are followed.
- Assist with model setup, family creation, template maintenance, and data management.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design and coordination issues.
- Support project documentation, revisions, and as-built model updates.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional CAD/BIM experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
- Experience supporting vertical engineering/building projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Experience creating and managing detailed construction documentation.
- Knowledge of engineering design processes and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an engineering consulting, architectural, or construction environment.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Exposure to structural, architectural, or MEP design disciplines.
- Experience with clash detection and model coordination workflows.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Drafting, Construction Management, or a related field.
Compensation
