A well-established boutique CPA and accounting firm is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working directly with a diverse client base and managing the full accounting cycle from transaction processing through financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple client accounts
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process multi-client payroll and payroll tax filings
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
- Review bookkeeping records for accuracy and completeness
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or adjustments
- Work directly with clients to address accounting questions and provide support
- Utilize QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters accounting applications to maintain financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience within a CPA firm or public accounting environment
- Full-charge bookkeeping experience from transactional processing through financial statement preparation
- Strong understanding of payroll, sales tax, and general accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Experience with Thomson Reuters products, including Accounting CS, UltraTax, and FileCabinet, strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
