Business Analyst

Robert Half is seeking a Business Analyst for a client located in Irvine, CA. This is a 100% onsite role for atru Business Analyst focused on stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and project ownership, not a Data Analyst, Power BI, or development position.

Ideal candidates are proactive, relationship-driven Business Analysts who enjoy working directly with stakeholders, asking questions, creating clarity, and moving projects forward.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Own stakeholder relationships and drive requirements gathering sessions
• Lead discovery meetings, workshops, and backlog grooming sessions
• Create business requirements, user stories, process flows, and documentation
• Partner with business and technical teams to deliver solutions
• Work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Perform light SQL validation and testing support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Business Analyst experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Ability to lead conversations and drive projects with minimal oversight
• Salesforce Sales Cloud experience
• Basic SQL experience for data validation

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including journeys and data extensions
• Salesforce Admin or Marketing Cloud certifications
• Agile project experience
