Pitt Business is seeking qualified applicants to support the enrollment and admissions operations for the School of Business. This position serves as a primary liaison to prospective students, providing individualized communication to guide them through the admissions process. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for converting prospective student leads into applicants and supporting applicants through their journey to enrollment. Key duties include serving as a primarily liaison for prospective and current applicants, assisting with daily admissions operations, and fostering strong relationships to promote the school’s programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to relationship management, and a commitment to enhancing the prospective student experience.

- Serve as an outreach coordinator for leads, prospects, applicants, and deposited students.
- Coordinate, recruit and assist with on-campus events, campus visits, and webinars.
- Manages the general email box and provides timely, individualized outreach and follow-up to prospective candidates.
- Coach prospective candidates and monitors their progress through the application process using multiple communication channels such as email, text messages, and phone calls.
- Maintain communication with applicants during the review process to ensure ongoing engagement.
- Support yield and melt-mitigation strategies.
- Support accepted candidates during their transition to enrolled student status.
- Participate in orientation and engagement events as needed.
- Develop and maintain a strong and current understanding of the full portfolio of Graduate MBA and MS programs and credential offerings, including full time, part time, and online options.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all program related conversations with prospective and current candidates.
- Accurately update and maintain candidate interaction records and activities in the CRM system.
- Use approved communication templates and resources to provide consistent, clear, and accurate information for campaigns.
- Creates and updates the email journeys in Salesforce for admissions recruiting events.
- Manage the application fee waiver process through the CRM.
- Interact with the CRM to get prospect information via dashboards.
Develop and maintain proficiency in our data management systems include CRM, the application system, Tableau dashboards, and others as needed to support recruitment and yield.
