Position Description

Are you a highly experienced Superintendent/Field Operations Leader with water, wastewater, or PFAS treatment construction experience looking to take ownership of an entire state's water portfolio and have the autonomy to manage it as you see fit?

Are you looking for a leadership position working directly alongside the Regional VP to shape strategy for a business unit that's about to become the majority of the company's work?

The Value Proposition

Myers & Sons in Colorado has grown its backlog significantly to over $115M in the past year, and water and wastewater work is set to become the majority of that backlog moving forward - this position will see you overseeing all of it. Reporting directly to the Regional VP, you will run the entire Colorado water and wastewater portfolio — CMAR and PFAS treatment plant projects across the state, from Keystone and Eagle through new work starting in Boulder — with full accountability for the field and project leadership beneath you.

You will help build out and lead the water division's superintendent and project management bench, currently a gap in the business, and be the senior operational voice for water work in the region, working alongside the executive team on strategy and pursuits as the division scales. Projects typically run $5M–$30M, based out of the Brighton office, and all work is in the Colorado area.

Training and Development

  • Opportunity to build and shape the water team's structure from the ground up
  • Direct working relationship with the Regional VP and executive leadership
  • Continued career development and training, as well as assistance - discussed individually

  • Position Requirements

    Candidate Background, Skills, and Experience

  • Must have General Superintendent or Senior Superintendent experience leading Water, Wastewater, or PFAS treatment construction
  • Must have led and developed teams of Superintendents and field staff, not just managed a single project.
  • Must be comfortable operating at a leadership level, working directly with regional and executive leadership on strategy, resourcing, and pursuits
  • Effective leadership skills: production and schedule management, directing teams, drive accountability, manage risk and commercial exposure across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across field, project management, and executive stakeholders.
