Your Mission:

Drive quality earlier into the launch process (Quality Assurance). React quickly to customer concerns. Improve the Business Management System through audits and improvement ideas. Meet annual departmental goals.


Explore the Depth of the Role:

  • Develop quality plans from customer requirements, external standards, and internal procedures to mitigate risk, be the contact for customer quality concerns.  
  • Lead customer scorecard improvements.  
  • Leader/member of corrective action teams. 
  • ISO / AS internal auditor. 
  • Maintaining a positive quality reputation with assigned customers.
  • Implement containment activities, as required, to protect the customer of repeat non-conformances.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:


Mission Readiness:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Quality Assurance functions, with adequate experience using inspection and test equipment.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Technician, or Engineer
  • ISO-9000 or AS-9100 related auditing, inspection & test, Metrology, and calibration, print reading & interpretation (GD&T).
  • Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Ability to interact effectively with suppliers and customers.
  • Familiar with Machining, Welding, Assembly and Testing.
  • Good planning, organizational, and communications skills required.
  • Energetic, Positive attitude, Proactive, Process Driven, Leadership & Motivational abilities.
  • Works well with others.
  • Organized with ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments.


Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel between facilities, as business needs require.


Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
