About the Opportunity
Leidos is seeking a Senior Product Systems Engineer – SIGINT to provide lifecycle engineering and operational sustainment for mission-critical SIGINT applications operating in Linux and Windows environments. As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will help ensure mission software remains reliable, performant, secure, and operationally ready by combining systems engineering, product sustainment, automation, testing, and operational support.

As a Senior Product Systems Engineer - SIGINT, you will own the technical health of critical SIGINT software capabilities by supporting deployment, monitoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle sustainment activities that directly enable Intelligence Community missions.
What You'll Do
Product Engineering & Sustainment
Provide lifecycle engineering support for mission-critical SIGINT applications operating in Linux and Windows environments.
Support systems engineering activities that improve product functionality, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
Develop Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), technical plans, support plans, and engineering documentation.
Coordinate integration of product improvements into operational baselines.
Systems Integration & Operations
Monitor product dataflow, identify system and component issues, and optimize operational performance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and subsystem failures while documenting defects and recommended resolutions.
Perform regression testing, Operational Acceptance Testing, and Operational Evaluations supporting product releases.
Support software integration, deployment, and operational readiness activities.
Automation & Monitoring
Develop scripts, tools, and automation that improve system monitoring, operational health, and deployment efficiency.
Create monitoring mechanisms that provide system health, mission status, and operational metrics.
Develop automation supporting system administration and operational sustainment.
Optimize system performance through continuous monitoring and engineering improvements.
Product Support & Training
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support documentation, and training materials.
Provide technical training supporting operational users and sustainment personnel.
Support periodic system backups and document recovery procedures.
Collaborate across engineering and operational organizations to integrate tools, scripts, and monitoring capabilities into the product baseline.
Required Qualifications
Clearance
TS/SCI with Polygraph required, at the time of Application, to be considered for the position.
Experience
BA/BS degree. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of six (6) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Minimum of ten (10) years of Linux systems administration or operations experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting SIGINT technologies.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience integrating, testing, and deploying software.
Minimum of three (3) years of scripting experience using Bash, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience using JIRA or similar project management and issue-tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Intelligence Community SIGINT mission applications.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
