Dispatcher

We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher to join a manufacturing team in Florida in a Contract to Permanent role. This position is well suited for someone who can manage a steady flow of calls, coordinate activities efficiently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, collaborating with others, and using web-based tools and Microsoft Excel to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a high volume of inbound calls each day and respond to inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
• Place outbound calls to complete equipment-related confirmations and follow up on operational needs without any sales activity.
• Coordinate dispatch activities through an online scheduling and tracking platform while maintaining accurate information.
• Monitor multiple tasks at once, prioritize changing demands, and ensure timely communication across the team.
• Support after-hours coverage through a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and holidays once training is completed.
• Work across assigned shifts as needed, including volunteering for alternate coverage when business demands require flexibility.
• Maintain clear records and update spreadsheets and related documents using Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers while also taking ownership of responsibilities with limited supervision.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, call center support, or a similar phone-intensive role.
• Ability to handle frequent inbound and outbound calls while maintaining strong phone etiquette and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an entry to intermediate level and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Comfort using web-based systems and navigating online dispatch or scheduling platforms.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to take initiative and perform independently when needed.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Access to high-speed internet at home to support required remote on-call rotations.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
