Inventory/Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a growing organization in Mounds View, Minnesota, supporting data-driven operations within the semiconductor and electronic components manufacturing space. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex business and inventory data into practical insights that improve daily operations and decision-making. The role will work across multiple platforms, strengthen data quality, build reporting tools, and help operational teams document and refine their processes.

Responsibilities:
• Examine large datasets from multiple business applications to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support informed operational decisions.
• Act as a primary resource for the organization's ERP-related data environment, helping maintain reliable information and supporting effective system usage.
• Develop, update, and validate reports and dashboards that provide visibility into operational performance, inventory activity, and business metrics.
• Partner with inventory, purchasing, and leadership teams to improve stock accuracy and support ongoing materials analysis efforts.
• Perform pricing-related analysis for components and prepare reporting that assists with planning and cost visibility.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures and other process documentation to promote consistency and efficiency across teams.
• Review data across systems to ensure alignment, accuracy, and completeness in reporting and day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover workflow improvement opportunities and recommend practical process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a closely related role supporting operations.
• Hands-on ability to work with large datasets, including data validation, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance.
• Proficiency in Power BI for building reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for business users.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of inventory management concepts and the impact of data accuracy on operational performance.
• Experience documenting procedures or workflows in a clear, structured manner.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced business environment.

Compensation

$27.71-$32.09 Hourly
