Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Administer biweekly payroll for approximately 150 hourly employees, ensuring pay is processed accurately and on schedule.
• Review payroll data for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and confirm employee records are properly maintained.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including reporting tasks and preparation of required documentation.
• Support payroll compliance by following applicable wage, tax, and reporting guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality when working with compensation details, employee records, and other sensitive information.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address payroll-related questions and help keep processing workflows on track.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience processing payroll in a business environment that requires strong attention to detail.• Demonstrated background managing payroll on a biweekly schedule.
• Understanding of payroll regulations, reporting obligations, and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and verify large amounts of payroll information.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation data with a high level of discretion.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms is preferred.
• Recent hands-on payroll experience is strongly preferred.
