Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Generate and review customer invoices to ensure billing is completed correctly and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate receivables records by tracking open balances and updating account activity promptly.
• Post incoming payments and reconcile transactions to keep customer accounts aligned with supporting documentation.
• Research payment variances, billing concerns, and account discrepancies, then work toward timely resolution.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to respond to account questions in a thorough and service-focused manner.
• Assist with month-end close tasks by preparing receivable information and supporting related financial reporting.
• Contribute to broader accounting and administrative assignments as departmental needs evolve.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or general accounting work.• Working knowledge of commercial collections, cash application, billing processes, and customer invoicing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing data, reviewing account details, and supporting reporting needs.
• Experience using accounting software, with the ability to learn new systems and workflows efficiently.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills supported by sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
Compensation
