Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a manufacturing operation in New York. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing order information accurately, and providing responsive service by phone. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for incoming inquiries while ensuring a detail-oriented experience with each interaction.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls clearly and courteously, provide accurate information, and resolve routine questions in a timely manner.
• Enter customer orders accurately into company systems and confirm details to help prevent delays or errors.
• Assist customers with product, order, and service inquiries while maintaining a courteous and solution-focused approach.
• Make outbound calls when follow-up is needed to clarify order information, provide updates, or address open issues.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly so records remain complete, organized, and easy to reference.
• Coordinate with internal teams as needed to help resolve order concerns and support smooth customer communication.
• Monitor open requests and take appropriate action to ensure issues are addressed through completion.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar customer-facing role is helpful; entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply.
• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining accuracy, patience, and professionalism.
• Experience with order entry or strong data entry skills with close attention to detail.
• Comfortable making and receiving phone calls as part of daily customer support responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn company systems and processes quickly.
• Dependable work habits and a consistent focus on customer satisfaction and timely follow-through.

Compensation

$24.00-$34.00 Hourly
