Sr. Financial Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate current financial and payroll system setup and recommend improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and reporting reliability.
• Investigate configuration problems, data discrepancies, and processing errors, then implement corrective actions to stabilize system performance.
• Support payroll operations with a strong emphasis on W-2 preparation, payroll tax reporting, and compliance-related analysis.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to validate system outputs, reconcile payroll-related information, and address exceptions in a timely manner.
• Perform financial and variance analysis to identify trends, explain irregularities, and support operational decision-making.
• Use data analysis and data mining techniques to review payroll and financial records, uncover issues, and improve reporting quality.
• Provide hands-on support for payroll platforms, including ADP-related processes, and contribute expertise in integrated financial system workflows.
• Assist with system implementation activities related to payroll and finance functions, including setup refinement, testing, and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working with payroll processes, including payroll tax reporting and year-end W-2 support.• Strong background in financial systems analysis with the ability to assess setup, functionality, and data accuracy.
• Proven experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting in a business environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of ADP payroll and related financial services tools.
• Ability to identify root causes of system or process issues and develop practical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Experience using data mining and analytical techniques to review large datasets and support reporting accuracy.
• Sage experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance, payroll, and operational teams.
Compensation
