Recruiter

We are looking for a Recruiter to join a non-profit organization in Williamsburg, Virginia on a Contract basis. In this role, you will help drive hiring activity across a range of operational and support positions while ensuring a smooth and respectful experience for applicants. This opportunity is well suited for someone who can manage high-volume recruiting demands, stay organized in an applicant tracking system, and communicate effectively throughout each stage of the hiring process.

Responsibilities:
• Guide candidates through the offer stage by delivering verbal offers, answering questions, and supporting timely acceptance decisions.
• Keep applicant records current and well organized within the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate hiring documentation.
• Manage recruitment activity for several openings at once, balancing priorities across different departments and job categories.
• Create a welcoming and attentive experience for candidates from initial contact through final hiring steps.
• Conduct prescreening activities to identify talent efficiently and move strong applicants through the process.
• Partner with hiring teams to support staffing needs for hospital support, food service, guest-facing, call center, interpreter, and other organizational roles.
• Track candidate progress and maintain clear communication to help keep the hiring process moving forward.
• Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for a variety of foundation positions as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume hiring environment.
• Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system to manage candidate information and hiring workflows.
• Ability to prescreen applicants effectively and assess fit for a wide range of positions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions at the same time.
• Detail-oriented verbal and written communication skills for candidate and stakeholder interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Experience supporting hiring for operational, service, or administrative roles is preferred.

Compensation

$24.70-$28.60 Hourly
