I’m working with a company seeking a sharp Accounting/Finance professional to serve as a key partner to business leaders—someone who can help manage the financial story behind the business, not just report it.

What makes this role stand out?

This position sits at the intersection of accounting and FP& A, with heavy exposure to:

• Annual operating plan development
• Monthly forecasting
• Variance analysis vs. forecast, plan, and prior year
• Management reporting
• Business unit financial performance support

You’ll be a go-to finance partner for leadership, helping them understand where the business is trending, what’s driving results, and where course correction is needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with business leaders on the annual budget and monthly forecast
• Performing detailed variance analysis and clearly explaining drivers behind results
• Preparing financial reporting for assigned business units
• Supporting the monthly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assisting with forecast updates and departmental planning
• Preparing management reports highlighting performance against plan, forecast, and prior year
• Supporting audits, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Identifying process improvements and delivering ad hoc financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with general ledger systems
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance leaders
• GAAP knowledge preferred
• ERP experience is a plus

Compensation

$65,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
