Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a non-profit organization in Naples, Florida. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day financial records with accuracy, maintain organized bookkeeping processes, and produce reliable financial reporting. The person in this role will help keep accounting operations running smoothly by handling transactions, reconciliations, and key financial documents.

Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain accurate debit and credit entries across the organization’s financial accounts.
• Reconcile bank activity on a regular basis to ensure balances are correct and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Prepare and issue checks while confirming proper account coding and supporting documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to keep financial transactions current and well documented.
• Compile income statements and assist in preparing clear, accurate financial reports for internal review.
• Produce balance sheets and help maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Use QuickBooks Online and DonorPerfect to process financial data and support ongoing bookkeeping activities.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a closely related accounting role.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, including experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and routine bank reconciliation processes.
• Ability to prepare checks and apply accurate coding to financial transactions.
• Experience creating income statements and balance sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a business casual office environment.

Compensation

$20.00-$24.00 Hourly
