AI Consultant

We are looking for an AI Consultant to support legal industry initiatives in Chicago, Illinois by improving data-driven workflows and connecting technology solutions to business needs. This role focuses on evaluating operational requirements, advising on enterprise platforms, and helping teams use information more effectively across connected systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of discovery processes, EDI environments, and ERP-related tools, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into practical outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Assess business and technical needs to recommend AI-enabled solutions that improve legal and operational workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to analyze discovery-related processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
• Advise on the use of Electronic Data Interchange systems to strengthen data exchange and support reliable integration across platforms.
• Provide subject matter guidance on Prophet 21, Prophet, and broader enterprise resource planning environments to align technology with business objectives.
• Review existing system configurations and workflows to uncover gaps, streamline processes, and support scalable solution design.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations, documentation, and next steps for cross-functional teams.
• Support implementation planning, testing activities, and process refinement for system enhancements involving connected enterprise applications.
• Monitor solution performance and recommend adjustments that improve usability, data quality, and overall business value.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a consulting, advisory, or solution-focused role involving AI, data, or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of discovery processes within services or legal-related environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange and integrated business system workflows.
• Working knowledge of Prophet 21, Prophet, or comparable enterprise resource planning platforms.
• Ability to gather requirements, evaluate current-state processes, and develop practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to varied audiences.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational users to drive solution delivery.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
