Onboarding Support Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming onboarding activities and support requests to help physician practices complete implementation milestones and prepare for launch.
• Carry out recurring operational tasks by adhering to established procedures, workflows, and documented service standards.
• Enter, review, and maintain provider and practice information in internal systems with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Update onboarding records, move items through required checkpoints, and close cases based on approved guidance and process documentation.
• Record detailed notes on each case and maintain clear status tracking so work remains visible and organized.
• Identify issues that cannot be resolved within standard procedures and route them promptly to the appropriate team for further action.
• Safeguard confidential healthcare and business data by following compliance expectations and secure data-handling practices.
• Respond to customer concerns with patience and care, helping reduce friction and maintain a positive support experience.
Qualifications:
• At least 6 months of experience working with confidential or regulated information at a Healthcare organization.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when entering, reviewing, and maintaining sensitive records.
• Ability to consistently follow standard operating procedures, checklists, and repeatable workflows with minimal oversight.
• Prior experience with EHR Systems such as Cerner or Epic.
• Experience in healthcare technology, insurance, billing, medical records, or a related regulated setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with case management or support platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, or comparable tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-volume support, service, or operations environments.
Compensation
