Accounts Payable Lead
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead daily accounts payable operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for overseeing a small team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, maintaining vendor records, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of accounts payable professionals.
- Oversee high-volume invoice processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate year-end vendor reporting and compliance activities.
- Maintain and administer financial records and related documentation.
- Manage vendor onboarding and record maintenance processes.
- Coordinate electronic payment setup, validation, and processing.
- Review invoice batches and monitor workflow efficiency.
- Supervise payment processing activities, including check and electronic payments.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, exceptions, and account issues.
- Monitor payment controls and assist with cash management activities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support business objectives.

Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment procedures, and vendor management.
Experience working with electronic payment methods and financial systems.
Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and improve processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
