Teller/CSR

We are looking for a dependable Teller/CSR to support daily customer transactions and front-line banking service in New Mexico. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, handling cash accurately, and maintaining organized financial records in a fully on-site branch environment. The role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with cash-handling experience to build on their customer service and banking operations background.

Responsibilities:
• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver attentive service at the branch by assisting clients with account-related questions and directing them to appropriate banking solutions.
• Balance cash drawers and verify transaction totals at the end of each shift to maintain strong financial controls.
• Enter transaction details and customer information into internal systems while keeping records complete and accurate.
• Support basic back-office tasks such as document review, payment processing, and general clerical assistance as needed.
• Follow branch procedures, security protocols, and compliance standards when handling funds and sensitive customer information.
• Assist with day-to-day banking operations to help ensure smooth lobby flow and timely service for customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous cash-handling experience in a retail, banking, or customer-facing environment.
• Strong numerical skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
• Comfortable using data entry systems and maintaining precise transaction records.
• Prior exposure to banking services or branch operations is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work fully on site in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
