Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and update residential real estate closing packages to support accurate and on-time transaction completion.
• Coordinate closing appointments with relevant parties and manage calendars to keep matters progressing smoothly.
• Review transaction details and compute prorated amounts related to taxes, fees, and other closing adjustments.
• Obtain mortgage payoff information and confirm figures needed for final settlement documentation.
• Organize case materials and maintain complete, current files throughout each stage of the closing process.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve questions and keep transactions on track.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of paralegal experience, with a background in residential real estate matters.• Demonstrated experience supporting closings and preparing related legal or transactional documents.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to client and team interactions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial figures, legal documents, and scheduling logistics.
Compensation
