HR Assistant
We are seeking a proactive and professional Human Resources Assistant for a temporary assignment in SeaTac, WA. This role will provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with a variety of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee records management, recruiting coordination, and general HR administration.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources within a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and employee file creation.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates regarding scheduling and next steps.
- Process employment-related documentation, including personnel changes, new hire forms, and compliance records.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Support HR projects, audits, and departmental initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain HR databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other HR-related documents.
- Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office support experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
Compensation
