Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking a PMO Procurement Support Manager to play a key role in supporting enterprise procurement initiatives, cross-functional projects, and operational improvement efforts. This contract position serves as a bridge between procurement, project management, finance, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure sourcing initiatives, vendor engagements, and strategic programs are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement-related projects within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with sourcing, purchasing, finance, legal, and operational teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Monitor project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones while providing regular updates to leadership.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, contract administration, and procurement governance processes.
• Develop project plans, tracking tools, status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive accountability for project deliverables.
• Analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on procurement operations and supplier management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contract requirements, and procurement procedures.
• Participate in change management and communication activities related to procurement transformation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting procurement, sourcing, PMO, project management, operations, or vendor management initiatives.
• Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and functional groups.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier engagement, contract management, and purchasing operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems, procurement platforms, or vendor management systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting procurement transformation, system implementation, process optimization, or enterprise change initiatives.
• Background in media, entertainment, production, broadcasting, technology, or other fast-paced project-based industries.
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Coupa, Ariba, ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, CPSM, CSCP, or related professional certifications.
