Salary Range or Pay Grade: $102,000 - $112,000
Description
We seek a dynamic music scholar to join the Department of Music at Princeton University at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) beginning on September 1, 2027. Applicants from all areas and approaches within music scholarship are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will complement and expand our current programs, and will serve as a committed advisor and mentor.

Qualifications
Required qualifications:
PhD in Music or a related field
Preferred qualifications:
- Specialty in music studies, broadly defined
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to student mentorship
- Innovative research program with the potential of transformative impact in the field
- Research specialty that complements and expands Princeton's current program
- Research specialty that connects to broader campus-wide areas of emphasis, such as the Princeton Humanities Initiative
