Compliance Analyst

New York, NY 10106, US Remote Temporary
Compensation: $29 to $32 Hourly

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to support regulatory review and data validation efforts within a financial services environment in Charlotte, NC. This Long-term Contract position focuses on analyzing organizational profiles, preparing reporting inputs, and helping ensure work aligns with established compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound analytical judgment, and hands-on experience with financial crime and regulatory frameworks.


Responsibilities:

• Review and assess organizational profile information to support accurate reporting and compliance-related analysis.

• Analyze financial services data sets and documentation to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential risk indicators.

• Apply compliance knowledge to help maintain adherence to anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act requirements.

• Use advanced Excel functions to organize, validate, and reconcile large volumes of information for reporting purposes.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify documentation, resolve data quality issues, and improve reporting accuracy.

• Support underwriting-related reviews by examining loan documentation and comparing it against policy and regulatory expectations.

• Document findings, prepare clear summaries, and escalate notable exceptions or concerns to appropriate teams.

• Contribute to ongoing updates in reporting processes or operational workflows when compliance requirements change.


Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented experience in compliance, financial services risk review, or a related analytical function.
• Working knowledge of AML and BSA requirements within a regulated financial environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with loan underwriting concepts and supporting documentation review.
• Ability to evaluate information carefully and identify discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively in a deadline-driven contract assignment.

Compensation

$29.00-$32.00 Hourly
