Hospitality Associate

We are looking for a Hospitality Associate to support daily workplace and meeting operations in Chicago, Illinois. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment by coordinating conference room readiness, catering support, and shared-space organization. The person in this role will help ensure meetings run smoothly by preparing rooms, managing supplies, and maintaining a high-quality experience for employees and guests.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare conference rooms each day by arranging furniture, setting up audio/visual equipment, and organizing refreshments in line with meeting needs.
• Restore meeting spaces after events by removing materials, resetting the room, and coordinating the return of any borrowed or vendor-provided items.
• Maintain clean, orderly kitchen and catering areas so shared spaces remain presentable and fully functional throughout the day.
• Track catering and hospitality inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed to avoid service disruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support food and beverage delivery, room readiness, and event-related logistics.
• Manage multiple requests and shifting priorities while ensuring all rooms and hospitality areas are ready on schedule.
• Provide responsive, clear communication when supporting workplace service needs and meeting-related requests.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in office services, hospitality support, catering, or a closely related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to organize tasks effectively and handle several priorities within tight timeframes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented and detail-oriented approach.
• Experience working with conference room setups, catering coordination, or workplace support activities.
• Ability to monitor supplies, maintain inventory records, and follow through on replenishment needs.
• Comfortable working with vendors and handling items or materials associated with meeting and event support.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to keeping shared spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready.

Compensation

$17.00-$17.98 Hourly
