Full Charge Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate account documentation.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring invoices, payments, and collections are processed in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts, sub-ledgers, and general ledger balances to maintain complete and accurate financial records.
• Prepare routine financial summaries and reports by reviewing account activity and organizing supporting data.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, vendor concerns, and other accounting issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Process expense reports, issue checks, and record deposits while following established accounting procedures.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding account status, payments, and routine financial questions.
• Help maintain the chart of accounts and support consistent bookkeeping practices across financial transactions.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a full charge bookkeeping or closely related accounting role.• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and comfort working in accounting systems such as Oracle, Sage, Yardi, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to code invoices accurately and enter financial data with a high level of precision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling multiple accounting tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation
