Sr Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Associate to support a growing practice serving privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and family offices throughout South Florida.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates
• Conduct tax research and document technical tax positions
• Assist with tax planning strategies for business owners and high-net-worth clients
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices
• Support year-end tax projections and quarterly estimates
• Work directly with clients to gather information and address tax-related questions and provide tax planning guidance
• Collaborate with partners and managers on consulting and advisory engagements
• Mentor and assist entry level staff as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience for Associate level
• 4+ years of public accounting tax experience for Senior level
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate taxation
• Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
