Accounting Analyst

A growing company in Medford is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Accounting Clerk to join its team. This position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to support a busy accounting department with a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Enter invoices, payments, and journal entries into QuickBooks
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Generate invoices and apply customer payments
• Review and process expense reports
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Maintain vendor and customer files
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
