We are looking for a Health Benefits Implementation Specialist to guide new clients through the setup and launch of self-funded medical, dental, and ancillary benefit programs in Exeter, New Hampshire. This role blends hands-on benefits expertise with strong project coordination, ensuring each implementation moves forward accurately, on time, and with clear communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing several workstreams at once, partnering with clients and vendors, and keeping complex onboarding efforts organized from kickoff through go-live.

Responsibilities:
• Lead onboarding activities for new benefit clients by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal teams and external partners.
• Build and maintain detailed implementation schedules, status trackers, and supporting documentation to keep projects progressing according to plan.
• Collect, organize, and confirm client requirements so benefit plans and related services are configured correctly before launch.
• Facilitate kickoff sessions, working meetings, and client presentations to align stakeholders on scope, milestones, and next steps.
• Monitor open items, dependencies, and potential risks, then work with the appropriate parties to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Oversee the setup of self-funded medical, dental, and ancillary offerings, helping ensure data, vendor connections, and plan details are ready for go-live.
• Document decisions, action items, and implementation updates clearly to support accurate execution and smooth handoffs.
• Contribute to process improvements by refining templates, tools, and documentation standards used by the implementation team.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in health insurance implementation or a related benefits or insurance position.
• Working knowledge of self-funded health plans and associated services such as claims administration, HSAs, FSAs, COBRA, and related benefit programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client-facing projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence leading meetings and presenting information to client leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, along with comfort using web-based systems and documentation tools.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of industry experience and practical knowledge.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% during high-volume implementation periods.
