Registered Nurse (RN) and a national certification to be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained throughout employment in this job title. This national certification will require approval by nursing leadership.

The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

The Pediatric Specialty Clinic seeks a Nurse Manager/Ambulatory/UKHC to direct clinical nursing operations for the Pediatric Specialty Clinic. This position will support all nursing staff within the Pediatric Specialty Clinic and its divisions, including but not limited to, recruitment, training, patient care, competencies, and professional development.

This position will work directly with the practice manager and ambulatory nursing director for practice and clinical improvements and nursing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN, hold a BSN, and have leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have efficient skills in Microsoft 365 (Office) and EPIC.

BSN and RN plus four or more years management/development experience preferred.
