What You Will Do
Advancement Communications- Oversee program activities of the SIUE Foundation Board and its committees, providing proper preparation and follow-up of this fiduciary body. Assist with fundraising proposal preparation, tracking and cataloging.
- Assist in the organization of advancement policies and procedures, the annual planning process, and the delivery of Advancement skill building workshops.
- Work with the VCUA to orchestrate SIUE donor stewardship communication.
- Ensure proper and confidential Advancement CRM input/output and adherence to constituent contact policies.
- Match donor inquiries with resources on gift types and opportunities; process gifts and gift documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of purchasing cards and other expenses to multiple budgets.
- Manage facility reservations and events.
- Manage various related operational requests and operational needs.
- Assist with outreach to and engagement with alumni, friends, and donors as well as private foundation and corporate partners.
- Assist the VC in collaborating with Deans, Directors, and Unit heads as they curate campaign preparation activities.
- Research, track and prepare for presentation of key campaign metrics and industry benchmarks for Foundation team and leadership audiences.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Bachelors degree
AND
Bachelor's degree specific to Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Public Administration or related field
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work experience in event coordination, donor relations or administrative roles
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong organizational and time managent skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required; CRM systems preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
