Account Coordinator - Client Services (Contingent)

At Altarum, we’re driven by a simple but powerful mission: improving the health of individuals with fewer financial resources and populations underserved by the healthcare system. We partner with federal and state agencies to design and deliver solutions that make a real, measurable difference.

About the Role

As an Assistant Account Executive, you'll provide essential support to staff, teams, and projects. Depending on the needs of your team, you may also support client relationships, produce initial drafts of work, and help monitor the data that shows how a client engagement is going. It's a role built for someone who's organized, dependable, and ready to pitch in wherever they're needed.

What You'll Do

  • Provide support to staff, teams, and projects, helping keep day-to-day work on track
  • Produce initial drafts of work for review by your team
  • Monitor and collect data relevant to client success
  • Perform administrative duties that keep your team running efficiently
  • Assist with new business development and organic growth efforts

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and with key stakeholders and clients
  • An action-oriented, organized, and proactive approach to your work
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to customer service
  • High school diploma
  • Some college coursework

Why Join Our Team?

This role puts you at the center of how our teams and client relationships operate day to day — supporting the people and projects that keep our work moving and contributing directly to new business and growth. It's a strong entry point for someone who wants hands-on experience across client support, data, and business development.

Where You'll Work

  • Remote with occasional in-person collaboration days
  • If you’re near one of our offices (Arlington, VA; Silver Spring, MD; or Novi, MI), you’ll be Hybrid and will join us in person one day every other month (6 times per year) for a fun, purpose-driven Collaboration Day. These days are filled with creative energy, meaningful connection, and team brainstorming.
  • Non-local employees will join these days virtually and may be asked to join us occasionally in-person.

Work Eligibility & Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
  • All work must be performed within the continental U.S. for the duration of employment, unless required by contract.
  • Ability to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time, unless otherwise approved by your manager.
  • Remote employees must maintain a dedicated, ergonomically appropriate workspace free from distractions, with reliable internet and a mobile device that supports efficient work.
  • Travel Requirements: <10%
