Job Description:

E.H. Wachs, a division of ITW's North America Welding Industrial Platform, is seeking an Accounting Co-op to support the Finance team through month-end close activities and a variety of special projects.

This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment while developing practical accounting and financial analysis skills. The successful candidate will work closely with finance professionals and gain exposure to key accounting processes that support business operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting processes
  • Support Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable activities and customer account management
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Support the preparation and analysis of GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Participate in ad hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Senior-level undergraduate student or graduate student preferred
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation Information:

The base pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The range for this position is: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
